Customs
Requirements
New Zealand has strict rules to protect its agricultural industries
from imported pests and diseases. If you bring in items such as
food and plants, these must be declared to Ministry of Agriculture
and Farming Officials.

Like other countries, New Zealand has strict security concerning

Health Insurance
& Vaccinations Requirements
We recommend
that you have
comprehensive medical insurance for the duration of your visit. If
you are from the United Kingdom or Australia, you will get the same
immediate medical coverage as a New Zealand citizen or resident due
to the Reciprocal Health Agreements.
Vaccinations are required if travelling to New Zealand from
yellow-fever-infected area. This is most likely to affect delegates
travelling to New Zealand from certain regions in Latin America or
Africa. Please check with your local travel agent or health centre
for the vaccination requirements.
